My Build Strategy
I plan to build this '55 to look like the 1955 Chevy 150 driven by the character
Falfa in the movie "American Graffiti". I chose the Revell, Skip's Fiesta
Drive-In Series because it was the closet to the 150.
Painting will be fairly easy since the entire car is black, inside and out.
I'll be using a mix of Tamiya, Kaleido and Vallejo paints. I've never used
Kaleido paints, so we'll see how it works for a guy who is not a very good
painter.

Update September 28, 2026
I will not be using the Revell Skip's Fiesta Drive-In Series because
some of the parts have so much flash and so many injector pin marks,
some of which practically go through the part, that after cleaning
the parts, there wouldn't be a part left.
Therefore, I'll be using the Atlantis H1374 which is the exact same kit
as the Revell Skip's Fiesta Drive-In Series. The parts in the Atlantis kit,
although still needing a lot of clean up, is much better than the old
Revell Kit.
